    I’ m working on stocking my pantry, catching up on videos and i have some questions.

    I see hulled barley as an alternative for rice. When I click on hulled barley the link goes to the home page. Is this an ingredient you no longer use?
    If you still use it are there directions for cooking some place.

    Also, is there written directions for cooking Ramen in a pressure cooker?

    Julie mentioned using cardamom to make blueberries more bio-available? Can’t find a source fore that idea, nor do I see Jerry’s spice blend. Is this something you still do?

      Hulled Barley is only used in a couple recipes and can be used in place of rice if you enjoy it. I removed the link because it was not a good price on line. I suggest sourcing it locally. I enjoy it in the BBQ Burgers recipe. I wouldn’t cook ramen in the Pressure cooker. Drop them into boiling water or broth and turn off heat immediately allow to sit 4 to 5 minutes. They cook quickly. JUst add a sprinkle as Jerry does to his oats with blueberries. Jerry’s berry boost blend was in an older lesson and it is a mixture of cinnamon, cardamon, clove and black pepper. Now he just sprinkles a bit of each on his oats with blueberries.

    Hi Jerry,
    New member here and I’m getting to know the website. So for newbies I’m assuming we begin with the archived lesson 1 and continue forward joining in on current lessons and chats as well. I’m also a little confused about pre class chats and time on the classes. I notice on the classes there is a date but no time. When there Is time listed is it always CST? Enjoying the journey. Thanks for such great information and videos.

      Welcome Debby,

      Great questions! You are absolutely right. Start with lesson 1 and work your way to where we are currently while attending the live classes and chats. Pre-Class chat is always the half hour before class (7:00-7:30 PM CST) and all other PD-Ed events including the weekly coaching chat will be posted on this page and in the class schedule column of https://protectivediet.com/pd-ed for your convenience.
