Tue Feb 23, 6:16:35pm
AndiChristopher: Lisa…maybe go out and come back in?
a2ellston: Oh god meat pizza! I feel bad just hearing about it.
MollyBurkey: You might restart your computer?
jerrypd: Lisa, close all the apps on your phone or restart your computer
jerrypd: the more processes that are running hurt playback
CJinPodunk: FROZEN for me

Tue Feb 23, 6:18:10pm
CJinPodunk: ok now…weird It is the only thing I have open
VibekeVale: I told everyone in my house to not use the internet while PD-ed is on. that way I won’t have any issues.
AmyReedy: you know it is amazing that you figured out the cravings aspect – no doctors that I have read promote this yet.
LisaAll: trying Jerry.
LisaAll: yeeha on the IpHone Jerry! Thank you!

Tue Feb 23, 6:19:13pm
LisaAll: now I can chat on PC and listen on iphone

VibekeVale: I use the salt stone.

Tue Feb 23, 6:21:01pm
LisaAll: I have that deodorant. It is nice!
LisaAll: bought it cuz Julie told me to
a2ellston: If you use it you become a marathon PD star.
robinfetter: I got a deodorant I am proud of as well. I use Lavanila which is all natural, vegan and cruelty free (and approved by EWG)….costs $14 a tube but it’s amazing and worth every penny
VibekeVale: it’s the deodorant of PD champions. lol
LaurieCantu: Jerry is it in the shop?
a2ellston: yes laurie
jerrypd: yes Laurie

Tue Feb 23, 6:22:03pm
AngelaPD: I stopped wearing deodorant a while back… no one has said anything LOL
MollyBurkey: That’s the one I use Robin
LaurieCantu: Thanks!

Tue Feb 23, 6:23:05pm
LisaAll: People tend to be way meaner in email than they ever would face to face
AngelaPD: It is always good to keep in mind that some people suck and we need to let them go
LisaAll: did she say to make a feel bad list too? then put it aside?

Tue Feb 23, 6:24:17pm
anon0178: WHAT CAREER WERE YOU IN BEFORE PD?
AndiChristopher: no just a feel good list I think
LisaAll: thanks andi

Tue Feb 23, 6:26:04pm
AndiChristopher: going out to eat and going to friends houses is the hardest…for me…
LisaAll: my friends know I will bring food to share or eat myself

Tue Feb 23, 6:27:16pm
AndiChristopher: was it hard at first?
VibekeVale: I visit with my friends every week. I bring my own food everywhere.
AngelaPD: Me too Vibeke!
VibekeVale: Same @LisaAll
LisaAll: no cuz they love me! Or else why would they be my friends?
AngelaPD: Always prepared
AndiChristopher: how do you deal with judgmental relatives that you love

Tue Feb 23, 6:28:28pm
judibryan: I just say this is what works for me
VibekeVale: Good words Judi.
LisaAll: I think I am old, Andi. My relatives are my children and they love me and don’t say much. Sometimes they tease. Luckily I don’t have to deal with parents.
LisaAll: I have my dad and step mother but they don’t say much about it.
AndiChristopher: 91 year old aunt who doesn’t understand and I used to stay with her but now I don’t due to my diet
LisaAll: I tease myself. I like to laugh so it is okay if they tease.

Tue Feb 23, 6:29:37pm
VibekeVale: I haven’t made either of those.
LisaAll: I just can’t do the cheese. but dang to I love the yogurt
MarlysJ: I haven’t either.

AndiChristopher: thanks Judi

Tue Feb 23, 6:30:38pm
judibryan: Sure thing ladies!!!! 😉
VibekeVale: I found ten recipes that I love and I make them over and over.
AngelaPD: What are your favs?
vegangirl58: One of my favorites is Mexican Pizza
AndiChristopher: health and high energy…yes!!
VibekeVale: butter noodles, potato fries with bbq sauce, tomato spinach pasta, asian kale, pd brownies, tamale pie,

Tue Feb 23, 6:31:46pm
MollyBurkey: There are so many wonderful choices it’s hard to pick just a few. LOL
VibekeVale: BBQ tofu bites
AngelaPD: CHORIZO!
VibekeVale: I lvoe those in salad
veganinblack: i was able to knock out some credit card debt
veganinblack: you do save and i live in downtown chicago where its more expensive
veganinblack: and i buy mostly organic
AndiChristopher: I do save money!

Tue Feb 23, 6:32:59pm
AngelaPD: Organic and saving $$ here too
LisaAll: I go out to eat once a week with my hub so he can get a horrible bacon and eggs breakfast afte the gym. I have salad at one place, fruit bowl at another. I know all the good places!
mariaavery: that wonderful Marci
AndiChristopher: thanks Lisa!
veganinblack: lisa why? so SAD
SuzanneHinds: I donated my soy milk maker….hated the beans taste. Much prefer the boxed.
LisaAll: I know. He is pretty good at home, but it is sort of his stand.

Tue Feb 23, 6:34:16pm
LisaAll: he doesn’t like many PD recipes but boy does he love the beans and rice
MollyBurkey: I love that I no longer have a love-hate relationship with my food.
AngelaPD: Right, Molly!
AndiChristopher: I WANT THE FREEDOM TO SUCCEED! I WANT TO BE HEALTHY! THIS RESONATES WITH ME SO MUCH…I am full of inflammation and hope to release all of it…
LisaAll: yes molly
MollyBurkey: I think it’s probably the first time in my life I’ve felt this way.

Tue Feb 23, 6:35:25pm
AndiChristopher: me too Molly
AngelaPD: How long have you been 100% Andi?
robinfetter: I hate the word “treat”…My friend “treats herself to a cupcake after the gym and she’s currently trying to lose at least 45 lbs
mariaavery: my treat is PD!
VibekeVale: I treat myself to a PD brownie with raspberry chia jam.
AndiChristopher: Angela…not sure about 3 weeks…not weighing right now!
MollyBurkey: My treats are all PD LOL
a2ellston: mine too Maria! mandarin oranges!
AngelaPD: PD treat, Maria!
vegangirl58: Frosty!
LisaAll: Oh I have a tangerine in my purse…

Tue Feb 23, 6:36:29pm
robinfetter: My treat is the Frosty or the shamrick shake
CJinPodunk: Fudge TREAT!
AngelaPD: It is right around the corner, Andi. Hang in there… you will see
VibekeVale: I love oranges and bananas sliced in a bowl. yum.
mariaavery: Fudge oh yeah
AndiChristopher: treats…oranges, frozen bananas, etc!
robinfetter: pardon the typos…I am doing my nails
AndiChristopher: thanks Angela!
SuzanneHinds: I like the strawberry chia jam on my drop biscuit for breakfast with my tea.
VibekeVale: I just found that drop biscuit recipe today. no yogurt for me though, so I can’t make that yet.
AngelaPD: My inflammation has completely gone away

Tue Feb 23, 6:37:31pm
LisaAll: I have been mixing raw cruciferous veggies with my cooked
CJinPodunk: I HAD A QUESTION ABOUT LAST WEEK”S CLASS AND NEEDING TO CUT THE CRUCIFEROUS VEGGIES – DOESN”T THE SAME REACTION TAKE PLACE WITH CHEWING??
mariaavery: that’s great Angela!
Susanmarie3: I don’t crave brownies, frostys, nothing. Fruit once in a while is good enough. my taste buds have changed.
jerrypd: Yes CJ
LisaAll: CJ it takes 40 minutes to develop so chewing would not do it.
AngelaPD: Mine too Susan Marie
AndiChristopher: Angela!!! thank you for the hope! My last test was 27 and it is supposed to be under 1
AngelaPD: Thanks, Maria
VibekeVale: I’m in 30 day detox so I am eating a ton of pd treats.
Susanmarie3: Cool Angela
jerrypd: just chew for a long time, like to a liquid, before swallowing
LaurieCantu: I make drop biscuits with applesauce instead of yogurt

Tue Feb 23, 6:38:39pm
VibekeVale: oh you do? great idea!
LisaAll: MyBFF has just joined. Still lurking. She is slim but has arthritis so hope it works for her. She is vegan but likes her coffee and sweets!
mariaavery: that’s great vibeke. what day are you
LaurieCantu: I like it better
MollyBurkey: I used yogurt and NYCS but I was thinking it might work with only NYCS. Worth a try.
VibekeVale: Maria, I am on my second day 100%, but on my 20th day with 85%.

Tue Feb 23, 6:39:41pm
AngelaPD: there is a HUGE difference when you are 100%
MollyBurkey: High Five Vibeke!
mariaavery: Great job you are jumping back in!
AngelaPD: You will notice a big difference
VibekeVale: I used to have bad pain in my hands every morning before PD. That is gone since I’ve been eating PD.
mariaavery: what was keeping you at 8t%
CJinPodunk: No pizza delivery here! LOL!
AndiChristopher: I have terrible pain in my arms and hands…hoping to get better…red face has gotten better

jerrypd: Good Andi
jerrypd: no need to weigh yourself
AndiChristopher: thanks Jerry!
VibekeVale: @andi My pants are getting loose but I am not weighing either.
jerrypd: this is about optimal health, NOT weightloss
veganinblack: i havent weighed myself in at least 6 months
robinfetter: My kids would choose the PD mac n cheese over any take out! I actually think Tamale Pie would be my lunch go-to!
AndiChristopher: Yes Jerry and Vegan in black!
AngelaPD: I weigh once a month for now but that desire is starting to disappear
MollyBurkey: Same here Angela

Tue Feb 23, 6:43:01pm

a2ellston: angela you are amazing
VibekeVale: I eat leftovers for lunch.
jerrypd: 90% of the time the issue is computer processes
a2ellston: congrats on your son
LisaAll: HUGE salads in jars, pickeled peppers, daily dressing, and brown rice. this week salad toppers too.
jerrypd: reduce those and the stream should be fine
VibekeVale: I need to buy more short grain rice.
jerrypd: You’re awesome Amy, wish there was more I could do to help you

VibekeVale: OMG that was for me
LisaAll: Andi in dealing with unsupportive relaives, jus thought of this… I had cancer so no one ever questions me. I putt the cancer card. You could pull the health card the same way. Pick a real condition or just say my health care professional is directing me. (your health care pro is Julie and us…)
