  1. What about canned fruits? I notice mine have added calcium chloride and citric acid. I also notice that the Muir Glen tomato sauce has “natural citric acid”. Does that make it ok – that it’s organic and natural?

    1. Naturally derived citric acid is fine to use. Avoid canned fruit and apple sauce that contain calcium chloride and citric acid. Once you find the brands that are fee of these ingredients in your stores it will become easier to shop.

    1. I hesitate to recommend brands due to the possibility of ingredient changes. The two that I currently have in my refrigerator door are both Koops’ brand. One is Organic Yellow and the other is Deli Spicy Brown. Look for ingredients containing: Vinegar, water, mustard seed, turmeric and salt. Avoid additives such as Natural Flavor and Spices.
