    Julie,

    Was there a difference in how the fast felt from when you started to now? Hunger pangs, etc.

      Yes, a big difference. After I practiced a while my hunger signals (hormone called Ghrelin) lined up with my consistant feast time. Just like it does when people eat at specific times of the day. If a person eats lunch at noon every day they will feel hunger signals at that time everyday brought on by the hunger hormone called Ghrelin. When we change eating times it will adjust. Until it adjusted I learned to appreciate hunger signals knowing the benifits of fasting were healing my mind, body and spirit.

    What is the app you use to track your fasting?

      Since it is winter I eat at sundown. There are many free apps to track when you broke your fast. After a few weeks of a consistant fast and feast time your body will signal with the hunger hormone Ghrelin when it is time to eat.

    This all makes absolute sense to me and I want to get on board totally, physically and mentally with a protective diet. Thank you Julie Marie and Jerry for another epic and informative sharing from a very real and honest place. thank you and thank you. I need to make a very intrinsic change and find my why. I have been struggling for a time now but will not give up.
