  1. I really savored every bite of this today for breakfast. The crust wasn’t the best but I’ve never been good at crust so I wouldn’t count that against the recipe. I’d even make this as just chocolate pudding. It was THAT good. Thank you Julie!

  2. Absolutely love this pie! I have made it several times now. I brought it to work and my coworkers loved it and remarked on how rich, creamy, and dark chocolate it was. Not a piece leftover. I prefer rolling out the crust so it is thin and even. Love having something healthy that I can share that you don’t need any taste bud reprogramming to enjoy. A real crowd pleaser!

  3. This was good! The texture of the filling was very smooth and silky, but mine formed a tough skin on top during baking–is there a method to avoid that?

    I’m not a big fan of any of the pie crusts. I’m still hoping that there’s a PD wonder out there waiting to be found!
