  1. This soup is a recipe I liked when I was new to PD and it’s always going to be a favorite. The soup is still as cozy as I remember it in my pre-PD days but now I can enjoy it guilt free 🙂 I would definitely suggest this soup to anyone new to PD and best of all it’s amazing the next day reheated over a bed of rice!

  2. This soup has great texture with loads of broccoli and veggies in each bite. I love the flavor, especially of the fresh parsley. Very easy to chop everything and throw into the pressure cooker. Its way better than any creamy soup I’ve had at my favorite chain soup restaurant! How brilliant to use oats as a base! It’s truly a “comfort” soup to indulge in.

    1. There are several innovative cream soup bases used in Protective Diet’s creamy soups to offer a variety of whole plant-based ingredients in your diet. The Cream of Chic’N and Cream of Celery are two I would recommend trying. Thanks for the recipe review.

  3. I have made this soup many times now. I want to try some of the other soups but this one is so delicious that I keep on making it instead of trying something different. I like to stir in chopped spinach at the end too. Yum.
