Vegan oil free, nut free, dairy free, sugar free Epic egg-less salad brigs back some food memories. Growing up I consumed a lot of oil, cholesterol and fat loaded egg salad. (I cringe now to think of eating animal products) I didnt miss having that dish but wow its nice to have it guilt and cruelty free. Julie Marie Christensen has done it again with Protective Diet’s Epic Eggless salad. I devoured the salad on top of organic romaine, toasted Ezekiel bread and garnished home grown clover sprouts. I made a double batch for a dinner date, and my friend who id not plant based said it was egg salad, and my place smelled like eggs when she walked in. Tis dish will be a staple in my house. Love it!

This egg-less salad is indeed epic! The flavor is wonderful and the texture from the celery and onions gives it just the right amount of crunch On my second batch in four days…my family and I have been enjoying this everyday for lunch!

Is the kala namak an important ingredient to have for this recipe?

It states exactly that in the notes on the recipe. Don’t bother making this salad without it. For best results with all PD recipes I suggest reading through the directions and notes before making them. I trouble shoot any questions that I think may come up and answer them offering tips and suggestions to assist you.

Imagine a world where you realize your favorite food is harmful to animals, bad for the planet, and bad for you. Imagine a world where you’ve tried several recipes to replace this food with a whole-food, plant-based option with “meh” results. Now, imagine a world in which Julie Marie Christensen is your “personal” chef, and you’ve been able to be reunited with a food which you’ve adored for most of your life with startling accuracy. Bless you Julie Marie & #protectivediet. ❤️
