This rich, garlicky cream sauce has got it going on! It has been reviewed as restaurant quality. The best part is it’s simple to prepare and ready in less time than it takes to boil water for pasta. This is a perfect dish for your next fancy dinner party or served up family-style on a Monday night. Kids love it; mothers and fathers agree that Fat Free Fredo is fast, easy, and delicious.

Delicious recipe I mixed my broccoli and steamed kale with this recipe… and pasta. Thank you
Haven’t made this in awhile! Thanks for reminder Julie Marie.
I never liked Alfredo sauce before going PD but this recipe is delicious! I’ve been PD since August 2017 and have made this 4 times! It’s my favorite recipe. Yum yum yum! Reheats great the next day!
We loved the recipe, but it is to much for my wife and I, can this be frozen?
Danny, Did you toss the sauce together with a pound of pasta? Seems Jerry and I are much bigger eaters than you and your wife. I would love to have leftovers for the next days lunch. Freezing it will work but reheating it might leave the pasta a bit over cooked. I would just refrigerate and enjoy it the next day or within five days after refrigerating it.
Decadent and delicious. Super easy, too!
Quick question. In your video you indicate 2 cups veggie broth, but in the written recipe iot says 1 cup… Which is it? Thanks!
Always go with the written recipe. Adjustments are made in writing to prefect recipes.
Absolutely delish!!!
I seriously love this recipe. It has become my favorite.
This dish is so tasty and satisfying; no gross heavy feeling after dinner. The sauce is very creamy and the flavors excite my pallet. We are making it again very soon.
Made this tonight and it was a huge hit! Will be adding broccoli and or peas next time. Didn’t think there could be a good plant based sauce to take the place of dairy Alfredo sauce but this definitely does the job! Another great recipe from Julie, you’re the best!! 🙂
I love this dish! It was so simple to make and tasted amazing. My 6 year old daughter and extremely unhealthy SAD eating boyfriend also loved it. The sauce is so creamy and the flavor is perfect. Definitely something I will make often!
Absolutely delicious!! Not even one noodle left in the pan 🙂 I made this for lunch today and we all loved it. It was a huge hit with my kids who said it was the best white sauce they’d ever had. Even my 2 foster kids had more than one helping. Actually, they each had 4 (yes 4!) helpings and these are the kids who came to me only eating junk food. Thanks for making recipes my whole family can enjoy!
Thanks for the great review! If they loved this try the Baked Mac n’ Cheeze out on them. I’m thrilled to hear your kids are eating healthy right with you!
This is the 2nd time I’ve made this. The first time was about 2 months ago and I didn’t care for it. Goes to show how your taste buds change on a PD, because now I love it! I added peas, carrots, green beans, and asparagus and put it over brown rice spirals….very good.
Made this for dinner last night. It is delicious!
I just made this sauce. I used it on spinach, zucchini and lasagna . It is amazing!!! I have found some of the best flavored recipes on your site! Thanks so much for being there for us!
I could eat this every week and not get tired of it. Yes, it’s that good!
i made this for a friend who is big into cheese and he ate 2 huge bowls of it, so good.
na na na na na na i making this right now.
I forgot to comment on this recipe! This was really good and I got a lot of comments about it on my facebook! This is a good one to try:)
