Ingredients:

  • Frozen Hash Brown Potatoes (ingredient: potatoes)

Directions:

  1. Read Directions and Notes
  2. Stock up your freezer with several bags of additive-free frozen shredded potatoes
  3. Preheat oven to 450 degrees
  4. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper, or a silicone mat
  5. Place frozen potatoes on lined pan and spread out approximately 1/2-inch thick
  6. Bake on the center rack for approximately 30 minutes, or until the top edges are golden brown

Notes & Pro Tips:

  • The two additive-free brands that I have found in St. George, Utah, are Mr. Dell’s 4-pound bag at Walmart and Cascadian Farm Organic 16oz bag at Natural Grocers—the Mr. Dell brand at Walmart is not additive-free in all locations so be sure to read labels
  • Sprouts grocery store brand was additive-free when I lived in California

  • Costco has a great deal on parchment paper during the holiday and winter season
  • Wax paper is not the same as parchment paper
  • Silicone mats can be used, but if you prefer faster clean-up use parchment paper
