Here’s a recipe that is sure to have you enjoying more kale and leafy greens in your diet. Total simplicity and clean flavors make this a dish you can incorporate on the side or as a main course served with brown rice. Top it off with one of Protective Diet’s signature hot sauces and you’ll be enjoying greens daily. Chewing leafy greens promotes nitric oxide production to boost our immune system, lower blood pressure, improve blood flow, and shorten workout recovery time. Drinking greens is not an effective way to promote our endothelium. Stop blending them up just to get them down and give this flavorful, savory recipe a try.

I’ve been using balsamic vinegar on my steamed kale, I’ll try the lemon next time!

I love the garlic greens with swiss chard! I made some veggies over the weekend and added lemon. Very good! I have been doing swiss a few times a week. It is in my regular rotation:)

I’ve never put lemon juice on my greens before. It’s delicious! I used kale, and can’t wait to try this with chard.

I am not much of a greens person but after eating this tonight I was totally surprised about how much I really enjoyed them! Sometimes the things that are the best for you are also the easiest! Not to mention tasty:)
