Vanilla Biscotti Mandel Bread Premium PD Recipe

This is an oil-free, egg-free and sugar-free remake of a traditional Jewish crisp desert bread. The Yiddish word Mandelbrot literally means almond bread. There are many flavor variations, most commonly chocolate chip and vanilla or cinnamon and sugar. This bread is a twice-baked crispy sweet biscuit similar to Italian biscotti. Mandel Bread is perfect served with tea or a PD Latte complete with the added bonus of whole grain nutrition.
