    To make a Yule log – use this recipe for the cake part of the nice cream sandwiches but use a pan half the size to make a thicker cake. Bake it for 10-12 minutes. Let cool as described above. Once cooled, use half of a batch of cream cheeze frosting to spread on 3/4 of the cake then roll using the cinnamon roll or sushi method. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Place on a plate and frost the exposed areas ( not the underside portion) with half or a batch of the chocolate frosting and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving. Slice to serve. This makes a very rich dessert.
