Mother’s Day is our reminder that strawberries are in their natural growing season. April through June they burst with amazing red color and flavor. Every spring Jerry notices the little yellow sponge cakes next to the strawberry display and asks for a Protective Diet strawberry shortcake with whipped topping. Now we have it, just in time for Mother’s Day and peak strawberry season.
