Peanut-less Peanut Sauce Premium PD Recipe

This sauce is perfect as a dip for Vietnamese Spring Rolls or for tossing with a cold noodle salad. It has the body and flavor of a spicy Thai-style sauce, free of the saturated fat and excessive calories that peanuts serve up. Go ahead and double dip that spring roll. This is a Protective Diet low cal, high fiber sauce that is guilt-free and full of flavor.

  1. How is the nutty flavor is using chana? I have a few pounds in my pantry and would be tempted to use that to cut down on the prep time? Have you made this both ways Julie, using chickpeas and chana?

  2. Ohhhhhhhhh my!!!! This is probably now my favorite Protective Diet recipe. This recipe is so delicious and tastes exactly like peanut sauce made with real peanut butter!!!! How does Julie do it? I’m in awe; this is absolutely amazing! I will be making this over and over and over!

  3. I am on my second batch of this delicious sauce!! I burnt most of my chickpeas on my first batch baking 400 for 50 min. On this second batch I baked 400 for 40 min and only had about 5 burnt peas. My husband who loves traditional peanut sauce made with fatty peanut butter inhaled this! I never told him any different either! Thanks Julie for another winner!!
