This slimmed-down, low-cal, crown jewel, crunch topping is a nut-free remake of Lindsay Ostrom’s, Pinch of Yum, Rosemary Walnut Crispies. She had me drooling and running to the Protective Diet Test Kitchen when she sprinkled them on her annual Fall On The Couch Pumpkin Cream Sauce Pasta. I cut the fat and enhanced the crunch with organic whole-grain fiber. The PD Rosemary Crispies were so fantastic we sprinkled them on everything savory! They are outstanding on Instant Alfredo, Salads, and green beans. We sprinkled them on Cream of Chick’N Soup, Kale and Dumplings, Split Pea Soup, and anything else that would keep their crunch afloat. Then I followed that with a plant-based, low-fat, quick-prep remake of Lindsey’s luscious pumpkin cream sauce with a spiced-up Chili Crunch addition. I filled two big bowls with creamy seasonally sauced pasta and Jerry and I fell onto the couch. We sprinkled on the Rosemary Crispies and Oh-Wow-Yum! We’re making this Instant Pot dairy-free pasta dish our annual Fall on The Couch tradition.

Wow! Added to the creamy pasta dishes, this is amazing! And added to salads makes me want more salad. I made butternut squash soup and this was delectable. What a fantastic addition to any savory meal! Thanks, Julie!
Just made these. They came out perfect and my house smells like heaven!
Hi there. I’m thinking of using some fresh sage too since I often see Pumpkin sauce recipes with sage. What do you think?
