Salsa Brava Premium PD Recipe

Salsa Brava means spicy sauce, also known as wild sauce, in Spain. It is a cooked salsa with a tomato and onion base that has a spicy, smoky finish. Warm or cold, blended or chunky, it can be used as a marinade, dipping sauce or to top a famous Tapas dish called Patatas Bravas. On a Protective Diet this sauce will complement any of our staple roasted vegetables or whole grains, or give a serving of Baked Mac n’ Cheeze a Spanish flair.

  1. This recipe is so good and it hits the spot! This makes a great party dish but it will be part of my weekly SUS because it is just so good. My husband from Spain gave it a thumbs up! We love this sauce and the speedy steak fries recipe worked perfectly well to make the fried potato chunks typically served with this sauce in Spain. This bravas sauce is delicious on broccoli or greens as well. So yummy!
