Vanilla Wafers Premium PD Recipe

At last we have guiltless health-promoting crispy and delicious plant-based gluten-free, oil-free, nut-free and sugar-free cookie! It took many years in the Protective Diet Test Kitchen to perfect these simple quick-prep easy-bake kid-friendly fat-free guiltless golden wafers. I’m still trying to get my mind around the fact that these delightful gems weight in at just 27 wholegrain calories each. Parents and kids alike will celebrate and cheer because at last PD cookies are here!

  1. Well shoot, mine turned out dry and crumbly. No golden brown. I know I haven’t gone through detox completely so things aren’t going to taste as good to me.

    Could it be because I reduced the the dry ingredients by half because I don’t like the flavor? I made my own flour, if that could make a difference.

    Really want this to be a success, any suggestions?

    1. Yes, Make the recipe as written. Adjusting ingredient amounts will not give you a good result. I made some adjustments to your comment, please do not list ingredients out in the comments section they are open to the public to view. I suggest grinding your own flour into a soft powder. If you are not a fan of the flavor I would skip these until after your detox, although they have been very well received during testing by many that are on a Standard Diet. My suggestion is to always follow PD recipes without adjustments to get the best finished results.
