I’m looking for immune boosting side dish/salads. My husband needs it. He doesn’t want to drop the meat! I’m going to start PD Ed in June! Excited
How exciting Jessica! There are many side dishes and salads that you can enjoy for your main dish and your husband can have as a side dish. They are all immune boosters! Have him take a look at the pictures of the recipes and pick out a few that appeal to him. The starch based recipes, potato dishes and pasta dishes are always man pleasers. Don’t discount the starch based dishes they are loaded with anti-oxidants.
Can’t we eat avacados on the Protective Diet? Where do I find the faux sour cream Faux guacamole?

How about a honey mustard type dressing? That has always been my favorite dressing when I ate a SAD diet.
I’ve been working on a French dressing, but its not spot on yet. Until I create a raspberry dressing you could use the strawberry poppy seed dressing recipe. Swap out the strawberries for raspberries, leave out the poppy seeds and use a balsamic vinegar.
Do you have a good recipe for french dressing or raspberry vinagrette? Thanks!
