Hurray! I love!!!

I am now on week 8 on a Protective Diet (PD) and I can’t be happier with the program! I was feeling thin today, so I jumped on the scale to see the scale at 180! Yes, 180 means 8.5 pounds lost in the last 7 weeks.

The best part is I LOVE what I am eating. I never feel deprived. I don’t have to count calories or weigh my food or write down everthing I eat! I was doing all those things and NOT losing weight before. This change has been so easy that it is almost unbelieveable!!!!
Thanks to Julie Marie and Jerry for all their hard work over the last few years to put together a very doable and easy to follow program. The recipes are the best! I love the tortilla chips, breakfast brownies, banana bread, asian style kale, Ultimate cheese sauce, herb and butter pasta and nearly every other recipe I have seen. These recipes have changed my life! Instead of eating out all of the time like I used to do, I can’t wait to get home and cook. 🙂 Wow!!!
I learned how to get food additives out of my diet and I no longer have ANY cravings. Even my habit since childhood of having dessert every night has disappeared. I also learned how to brown onions without oil and I have my own herb box!
The videos are so inspirational! Even though I don’t get to enjoy a live class often due to a schedule conflict, the live class is even more fun. I have learned SO much and sharing this PD food with my husband helped his cholesterol to drop 50 points!!!! (He gets tested every 2 months but is NOT on statins)
I could go on and on as most of you already know. I really appreciate this community of encouragement and experience too! I still feel like a newbie but I am started to see real changes in myself and my health.
