Our New Way of Life!
I started on the day fasting protective diet in March of 2026 and soon after my husband joined in. He immediately saw the results I was getting and didn’t want to miss out! It was surprisingly easy especially after the first 3-or-4-day adjustment period. We have been eating a “healthy” plant-based diet for a long time but couldn’t lose any weight (or just went up and down) and we were both always hungry. I’m averaging about a 10-pound weight loss a month and my husband is averaging more (of course). We just had to update all of our clothes since they were way too big! I’m shocked I lost anything since I have an auto-immune thyroid disease. I know I’m healing my gut with all the delicious protective food we are eating. I think the day fasting (and autophagy) helps too. I also have so much energy during the day. It’s crazy how productive I am now. I didn’t want to say this too soon, but my plantar fasciitis is 80% better! Wow!!! Julie and Jerry are so supportive and encouraging. We instantly felt so welcomed and it really meant a lot to us. It’s hard to find other people that are so dedicated to taking control of their own health, but we found them! The recipes are delicious and the cooking demos are really helpful. I feel so excited about the changes that it really has encouraged me to spend more time in the kitchen. I am sprouting, making homemade yogurt, and milling flour for homemade bread. Cooking and baking are more exciting now! The best part is that we feel so much better about ourselves and in our own skin. I’m excited to see what the next couple months brings as we get closer to our goal. I can’t imagine ever going back to what we did before. This is our new way of life!
