Cheeze Burger Mac Premium PD Recipe

This recipe is perfect for the grill-fearing, non-baker, antibun maker who loves all the flavors of a loaded cheeseburger but doesn’t want to mess around. This is a fun recipe that kids will enjoy topping with their favorite burger condiments and you will love the easy one-pot clean up.

I made myb Perfect Bite with all my normal toppings I have on my cheezeburger. Oh, I Love it! #PDSuperClub I put mustard, ketchup, tomatoes, onions, dill relish, pepper sauce All on a bed of Romaine Lettuce and Sprouts! Yummy! (Most of my toppings are ferments)

  2. If this isnt ultimate comfort food Im not sure what is, Protective Diet’s Cheeze Burger Mac pro bowl. As always vegan, oil free, sugar free, nut free and food additive free. Mustard, ketchup and pickles seem like a strange thing to top pasta with but wow does it all work. I added home grown valentine sprouts, tomatoes, red onions and probiotic peppers for some spice. I used a jumbo macaroni and it was just perfect. I’d easily pay 18 bucks in a restaurant for this bowl. My 1st time making this dish and its a new favorite alternative to burgers on a bun.

  3. This is one of my hubby’s favorites! I try to remember to make it weekly and it provides a dinner for two and lunch for two and one more small leftover. I don’t like many things leftover at all but I like this and I like it COLD! Thanks for all of your creativity and hard work Julie Marie!

  4. A-W-E-S-O-M-E ! Loved this recipe, then again I don’t think there have been many recipes that I have not liked that Julie has created. I enjoy the different “meatless” options, this time being the crumbs. The cheese sauce was good, I enjoy using potatoes as a base, but like Marie mentioned, the sauce does turn out very thick. I have got into the habit of using the water I boiled my potatoes in, adding it back into my cheese sauce if it appears too thick.

    I tried to fool my son with this recipe, he had a few bites, but then said he didn’t want mac for dinner. So I am not sure if he did or didn’t like it. Not Kraft by any stretch, just better for you, right? I finished the bowl (with hot sauce added) and went on to a second. What I found interesting was the crumbs had the consistency of beef. A nice hint of spice, not too strong. Next time I will add a few different burger type toppings, as I didn’t have any ketchup handy. Great recipe! Thanks Julie!

  5. Did anyone have to add more water to thin out the sauce? I added the whole cup of pasta water. The noodles sucked up the sauce so it was a bit dry for me. Think next time I won’t use a whole pound of noodles. Delicious tasting though!
