    Excited to try this and the chocolate after making the magnificent sweet potato pie! Quick question: My pie plates are stoneware. Do I still need the parchment paper?

      I have made the pies in stoneware and in a glass pie plate without them sticking to the pan. They were not as easy to transfer and cut as when I used parchment paper.
