Three years have passed since I started a whole food, plant-based diet. I have lost a total of 125lb. The best part of all this is that my health has improved! I have gone from a size 24 to a size 6. My start weight was apx 265lb and now it’s 140lb. I was able to lower my cholesterol (from 219 to 116), normalize my liver count, and eliminate the need for acid reflux medicine. I am no longer pre-diabetic and my skin is no longer oily.
I started with Protective Diet over two years ago and have been enrolled in Protective Diet Education since the first class. I truly know that I would not be where I am today if it wasn’t for Protective Diet.
The things that kept me motivated and on plan these last two years were:
1. Being a part of PD-Ed (weekly interactive classes & new weekly recipes).
2. The support and encouragement from Julie Marie the creator and instructor.
3. The support from Protective Diet Living Facebook group (PDL).
I have lost 100lb following Protective Diet. This program gave me the knowledge and encouragement I needed along my journey. My desire is to inspire others along their journey to better health. If I can do this, anyone can!
